1930'S CZECH PERFUME BOTTLE. FRESH FROM AN OLD ESTATE.
I BELIEVE THIS IS A BOTTLE BY INGRID. THE MARK IS CZECHO
SLOVAKIA IN AN OVAL. THERE IS ALSO WHAT LOOKS TO ME
LIKE A SIGNATURE BUT IS VERY HARD TO READ. IT LOOKS
LIKE CURSIVE WRITING WITH AN ENGRAVING PEN. IT IS VERY
LIGHT. IT IS IN THE GLASS. I CANNOT SAY FOR SURE IT
SAYS INGRID THO. THE BOTTLE MEASURES 5 INCHES TALL AND
3 INCHES AT THE WIDEST POINT. THERE IS A TEENSY NICK
ON THE EDGE OF THE STOPER WHERE IT SITS IN THE NECK
AND ONE ON THE BOTTLE RIM. THEY ARE SOOOOO SMALL THEY
ARE HARD TO DETECT UNLESS YOU ARE EXTREMELY CLOSE. THE
DESIGN IS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BOTTLE. THE DAUBER IS
IN PLACE, ALTHOUGH IT MAY HAVE BEEN REPLACED. I AM NOT
SURE ABOUT THAT. ID=CZ54
DeVilbiss
Cut Glass Perfume Bottle. The bottle with the dauber in
is 4 1/4 inches tall, the dauber alone is 4 inches. The
bottle looks to be cut glass but could be from a mold.
The only damage I could find is looking into the bottle
there are several chips, most likely from the brass dauber.
On
the bottom of the bottle is a white sticker with a red
boarder which reads -
DeVilbiss - Perfumizers - Guaranteed- Toledo -.

This is a beautiful Pair Czechoslovakia Bohemian Glass
Perfume Bottles. This nice set of glass perfume bottles
are marked Made in Czechoslovakia. These are hand painted
with a nice simple design and it looks like enamel paint.
The glass is all in excellent condition with no chips
or cracks. The ball on the atomizer is a replacement.
The dauber on the perfume bottle is toped with a clear
jewel. The very tip of the dauber is broken. These are
approx. 5.5" tall. ID=CZ57
This vintage miniature
Czechoslovakia perfume bottle is 3 inches tall and 1
5/8 inches wide. The bottle is a pretty pale blue color
glass that has frosted roses molded into the glass.
The center of the bottle has a shiny cut glass design
in the shape of a tulip and has a frosted cut glass
intaglio leaf design towards the upper center. The front
and back are identical. The bottom of the bottle is
a shiny cut glass. The top has a brass casing the covers
the opening. The lid is a screw on brass with a cone
shape faceted blue jewel in the center. There is a glass
dauber attached to the lid. I can't find a makers mark
anywhere, but I am almost positive that it's from Czechoslovakia,
as I have another one almost identical to this one and
it was marked Czechoslovakia. It is in excellent condition.

Here
is a wonderful old Jeweled perfume bottle! The bottle
is 'faceted' and complete with its original stopper that
fits tightly. None of the jewels are missing.
This special perfume measures just shy of 8" tall
to the top edge of the stopper. It measures almost 5.25"
tall to the top of the bottle and the stopper adds another
2 3/4 inches. This is a great piece! The perfume appears
to be in great condition. I can only find one tiny tiny
rough spot, on one of the bottom facet point. I can feel
it, but have looked with the magnifying glass and can't
even make it out! It is VERY tiny.
This
bottle has a unusual floral/abstract pattern on it's
base. The bottle is 4 " and with the stopper in
place it is almost 7 inches tall..The stopper is original
to the bottle and still has it's long dauber. Both stopper
and bottle are a rich blue. A few nibbles around the
opening but other than that this bottle is in pristine
condition. Signed etched on the bottom.

Czechoslovakian
Perfume Bottles and Boudoir Accessories,
by Jacquelyne Jones-North, Ken Leach, Ruth Forsythe, France
This
classic book has been out of print for five years, and
used copies have actually sold for $200 on the Internet.
Now this volume is back in print in a greatly expanded,
revised edition. All pages of the original edition have
been retained and more than 800 perfume bottles are shown
in color. The revised edition adds new essays by three
leading perfume bottle authorities. Ken Leach describes
America's fascination with perfume bottles and related
items (c. 1910-1950), with special attention to the role
played by Hollywood. Ruth Forsythe writes about recent
reproductions of Czech perfume bottles. Madeleine France
provides new historical perspectives and offers a hierarchy
of perfume bottle categories to aid the collector.
Accompanying these essays are 62 new photographs in spectacular
color. With the addition of this new material, the book
has expanded from 128 to 16 pages. An up-to-date 1999
price guide concludes the work. This book provides essential
information to collectors, and is a visual delight to
all lovers of beauty.
Vintage very Art
Deco Czech yellow glass perfume bottle. Circa 1920s
or 1930s. Acid etched MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA in an oval
on the bottom. This same bottle and stopper combination
is pictured in "Czechoslovakian Perfume Bottles
and Boudoir Accessories" by J. Y. Jones-North.
With a great low Deco stepped pattern base and a large
round top. The top is a very slightly smokier color
than the base, but I am 100% positive these are an original
match and were made together.
Stands
5 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide. Excellent condition.
The dauber is intact, which is unusual for these bottles.
There is a very small chip on the upper right corner
of the stopper. There is a very small chip on the side
edge of one middle point, and a flea bite on the lower
front of one side. None of these are noticeable at all
and the piece displays beautifully. No other cracks,
chips, or other damage and no repairs.

FROM
AN OLD ESTATE IS 2 FABULOUS ANTIQUE ART GLASS ENAMELED
PERFUME BOTTLES. BOTH MARKED CZECH ON THE BOTTOM...THEY
ARE SMALL, ONE MEASURING 3 1/3 INCHES IN HEIGHT AND

THAN THE OTHER. THERE IS MINOR WEAR TO SOME OF THE HAND
PAINTING AND I SEE ONE TINY NICK ON THE SMALL HOLE WHICH
