This wonderful antique 14kt yellow gold mesh purse dates from the late 19th century. Purses like this are worn as pendants on a long chain and look marvelous. It is stamped 14kt on the inside of the frame.The purse measures 2" x 2 1/2" and the cable chain on the top is2 1/2" long. The total weight is 29.4 grams. It is in mint condition with all the little gold balls on the bottom intact etc. I think this was made by Tiffany because I have another that is "full size" and is marked tiffany and this appears to be made the same except as a "jewelry item".
